Taking a Step to a Greener Future

For SeaPrint, there is more to going green than just offering soy inks and paper with recycled content. Here at SeaPrint, we acknowledge the growing environmental concerns facing the world today. To do our part we have taken steps to become more environmentally friendly and offer our customers the choice to join us in our efforts. Our solution, obtain the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification.

FSC certification allows us to offer our customers a way to do their part—by requesting the FSC printing process. When you request the FSC process, you will be getting paper from wood that was selected from certified well-managed forests. FSC requires their forests to maintain the principles and criteria they have set up and established. Once you have ordered your FSC paper, to use the FSC logo, products must go through the FSC chain-of-custody.

Obtaining FSC certification is just the first step of SeaPrint’s environmental improvement goals. We are also proud to have achieved Chain-of-Custody certification because it demonstrates our commitment to improving our manufacturing practices within our facility as well as the community where we do business.
